Both the author in the reading passage and the speaker talk about dinosaurs. Yet their viewpoints contrast with each other. While the author mentions three evidence supporting that dinosaurs are endotherms, the speaker thinks otherwise, contending that they are not convincing.
First of all, while the writer states that the dinosaur fossils found in Polar Regions can tell that dinosaurs are endotherms, the speaker presents opposing discourse to such a belief, reasoning that the temperature of Polar Regions was warmer than now. That is, even dinosaurs were not endotherms, they were able to survive in the Polar Regions. Besides, the speaker says that dinosaurs could migrate to other areas when the weather was cold.
Secondly, the writer points out that the leg position of dinosaurs can proof that they were endotherms. However, as opposed to this conviction, the speaker argues that leg position were not just for running, but for supporting more weight for dinosaurs. Therefore, with their legs positioned underneath their bodies, dinosaurs could grow in a large size.
Thirdly, the bone structures of dinosaurs are also regarded as an evidence by the writer. But, presented by the speaker to diminish the authenticity is the argument that dinosaurs not only had Haversian canals, but also had growth rings which can help dinosaurs stop growing during the cold period. As a result, slow growth is usually followed by fast growth, which is an evident proofing that dinosaurs were not endotherms.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
Television advertising directed towards young children (aged two to five) should not be allowed.
Television advertising is an effective way for companies to sell their products. Some people believe that the ads on TV should not be directed towards young children, whereas other people think that using an ad directed towards them is fine. As far as I am concerned, television advertising directed toward children aging two to five could be allowed. I am willing to discuss the reasons further in the following essay.
First of all, companies will earn more money by advertising directly towards young children. Since children that are two to five years old can be easily affected by the ads, they can be regarded as a potential target to the sellers. Even though they are not able to go to the shop to purchase the products on their own, they can ask or beg their parents to buy the products for them. Therefore, companies will be successful once they make the ads that look attractive to the young children. For example, the famous cereal company creates a cute character in the ads, and it completely catches the eyes of all the children. So many kids eager to eat that cereal, thus, a lot of parents spend money to buy them for their kids.
In addition, children will have a happier life because of the television ads towards them. According to the youth psychology, a child is capable of having memories from two years old. If young children own enjoyable memories, they are more likely to have happier time in the rest of their lives. As a result, the ads directed towards them play an important role because the ads introduce so many adorable toys to them. For example, by watching the ads on televisions, a young boy found a toy car so cool and therefore his parents bought that for him. With the toy car, the boy has plenty of wonderful times and owns unforgettable memories that are kept in his mind forever.
As has been demonstrated above, it is undeniable that television advertising directed towards young children can generate benefits to both the companies and the children. Consequently, it could be allowed without a doubt.
